Hi, I'm Dr. Omolara
Dr. Omolara Thomas Uwemedimo is a healthcare social entrepreneurship & funding consultant, specializing in supporting mission-driven healthcare practices to build funding partnerships that also increase reach and create health justice for historically excluded & under-resourced communities.
Dr. Uwemedimo has worked as a global pediatrician in low-income countries for almost 2 decades, a public health researcher and professor for over a decade, securing over $2 million in grant funding to build & scale healthcare delivery programs for health equity. In 2019, she transitioned to social entrepreneurship to create healthcare spaces that truly served under-resourced communities.
In less than 18 months, she and her co-founders, secured over $1 million dollars in contracts & grants for her own multi-practice healthcare network, Strong Children Wellness, which embeds comprehensive & tech-enabled physical health, mental health and social care services within community based organizations to serve marginalized & historically excluded youth and families, including those affected by medical racism, trauma, mental illness, immigration challenges and poverty.

Do i need to have GRANTWRITING experience?
No, our methods focus on securing subcontracts through organizational partnerships. Sometimes our clients are included in grants, but you WILL NOT have to write grants. You are busy trying to improve health and that's what we want you to focus on.
is this for any healthcare company?
No, this is only for for-profit or nonprofit healthcare practices that provide direct health services to communities that are marginalized, under-resourced or low-income. If you are creating a tech product or creating a med spa, this is probably not for you.
If i don’t own a business yet, can i still attend?
No matter where you are along your journey, you are welcome. However, this will likely be most beneficial for founders or leaders of established practices. This webinar is able to allow current owners & leaders to greatly benefit from this by adding a new revenue stream to dramatically scale their biz.
